Sometimes time is not a measure of the development of science and thought in a particular field. In the last 150 years, the development of science has produced more knowledge than in the previous 1500 years. Stimulating the development of science advances the development of humanity and raises the quality of life. The scientific fields complement each other in knowledge. More and more attention is paid to interdisciplinary areas, as well as to the border areas between different scientific areas. The contribution that is given today in one scientific field, tomorrow can be a key impetus for the application and development of another. Science develops and divides into new scientific fields and fields, and new knowledge is produced with great dynamics.
The Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality has been closely following the changes in the field of tourism and services since 1970. It is one of the oldest higher education institutions in the field of tourism in the Balkans. Continuously introduces changes in the study programs, but also in the way of working. At the beginning, it starts modestly, with a small number of teaching staff, without its own premises, but with great enthusiasm and desire to create a quality higher education institution. With dedicated work, the faculty becomes recognizable to interested students who want to study study programs in the field of tourism, but also to other study programs represented at the faculty.
